Seen as Celtic's greatest team, the 2017/18 jersey is inspired by the Lisbon Lions, the group that won the club its one and only European Cup (now Champions League) title. In 1967, the Bhoys defeated Inter 2-1, becoming the first British team to claim Europe's top prize.The Cup winners wore an understated jersey, just the traditional green and white hoops with a crew collar. The current design returns to that model, clean and simple stripes with a white collar. The New Balance and sponsor logos are gold, with a special monochrome gold badge.
